My name is Brigitte Nolen, pronounced ‘Bregetta,’ I’m also called ‘Bridget’ or ‘B,’ so choose what’s easiest for you!

 

 

I was born and raised in Germany, near the Austrian and Swiss borders. Being the youngest of 6 and the only female, I grew up a tomboy. My husband still smiles whenever I pick up a hammer or screwdriver, as these are not foreign objects to me. I went thru the German school system, a 2-year trade school, and worked in the health industry for several years. I was an avid skier and rock climber, traveling the surrounding countries whenever possible. Wanting to see the world, I decided to become an Au Pair. This took me to no other place than Horseshoe Bay (Deerhaven to be precise), Texas, where I met what later became my husband, and as they say: the rest is history, married for almost 30 years, 2 grown children, a step-daughter and 3 grandsons, which I adore.

 

 

Moving to Horseshoe Bay in late 1990 I was promptly hired by a German broker for my proficiency in the German and English languages. I instantly developed a love for the local communities and dove into learning all aspects of the real estate industry. Later I became the Broker’s assistant for what is now RE/MAX Horseshoe Bay, and eventually ventured out as an individual agent, joining Keller Williams Realty. In recent years I was instrumental in building a local Keller Williams team which quickly became one of the top-producing firms in Horseshoe Bay and the surrounding lakes. After 14 years with Keller Williams Realty, I chose to once again give my expertise directly to buyers and sellers. In 2019 I was invited to join the prestigious boutique agency of Gillean & Associates Realty. Most recently Gillean & Associates Realty merged with Horseshoe Bay ONE Real Estate, and we are now an established group of over 20 agents known as Horseshoe Bay One Realty. Our agents cover the entire Hill Country, including Spicewood and Austin, from Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ, and Lake Marble Falls to Lake Travis.
